First time swimming!

Today we (Brenda, Abby, Katie, Brayden, My mom, Allison, Myself) took Layton swimming in New Ulm. He had a short nap before we left but seemed to be really tired once we got into the pool. I don't think he realized what was going on until about a 1/2 hour into the swim. He then finally started splashing a little bit. I think he enjoyed it for the most part!!

Now Brayden on the other hand LOVED it!!! He was having so much fun. He would even put his face right in the water then laugh!!! I can't wait to take them both back!!!

And Katie and Abby also had a BLAST!! I swear those two went back to being 5 year olds for the hour and a half we were there. They went down the slides, sat in the baby floaty, and were just being goof balls. I'm glad everyone had sooo much fun!!!

I'm off to get my hair colored because Saturday Layton and I are getting our pictures taken at Target. I am looking forward to it!!!

What the heck.. I'll give this a shot!

After church Easter Morning

Two of my creative cousins now have blogs and they are so much fun to read so I thought "What the heck..I'll give it a shot!!" Hopefully I can be as creative as they are!!

Tonight is the night before Easter! One of my favorite holidays. I love getting up early and going to church then having a yummy breakfast and then I get the spend the rest of the day with my family. How much better can it get! This year will be extra fun because this will be Layton's first Easter! I had an Easter basket all ready for his but once he spotted it he had to have it. In it was a movie, a book, and a taggy blanket! He loves everything even the basket!! (It was a soft hippo basket!!)

Well I'm going to call it a night after my first VERY short blog! I am looking forward to tomorrow and everything it has to offer!! Stay tuned for more blogs in the near future!!!
